Who this policy covers

This policy describes how Skribbit (“we”) handles personal information for the Skribbit service. Questions: [email protected].

Account data

When a business creates an account, books a demo, or contacts us, we collect the account data submitted for that relationship. That includes the name, email address, and phone number of the person acting for the business, the business name, the website, and the contents of messages sent to us. Account data also includes login identifiers and the billing relationship for a subscribed business.

Payments

Stripe processes card payments. Skribbit does not store card numbers.

End-customer lists

Businesses upload lists of their own customers. Those lists can include a customer’s name, mobile number, and email address. Skribbit stores that list so the business can ask those customers for a review.

SMS and email

We send SMS and email to people on a business’s list when that business asks us to, and only when that business has recorded consent for that channel. The messages are review requests sent for the business. A recipient can opt out of SMS by replying STOP. A recipient can opt out of later review emails with the unsubscribe link in the message. That stops later email for that business and does not remove a review.

Google data

When a business connects Google, Skribbit uses Google data to list reviews and post approved replies. A reply is sent to Google only after someone at the business approves it.

Mobile numbers

Mobile numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Vendors that deliver SMS or email for us process those messages on our instructions. They are not given mobile numbers so they can market their own products.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

The marketing site does not load the Meta Pixel, or call its tracking function, until you accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, the pixel stays off, and this browser remembers that choice. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we treat that as a decline and leave the pixel off unless you explicitly opt in.
